The International Canicross Federation\u2122 I.C.F.\u2122 aims to be the guarantor of the values, rules and sportsmanship specific to single-dog disciplines.
It must set up a system to evaluate the management of its activities and the achievement of its objectives, in order to inform affiliated federations about the performance of its organisation and to move forward.
Thus, the International Canicross Federation\u2122 I.C.F.\u2122 aims to achieve a generalised network of its sporting activities throughout the world and has therefore decided to call upon its representatives on each continent<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The missions of the continental representative of the International Canicross Federation\u2122 (I.C.F.\u2122)<\/strong><\/p>

– They are above all the relay between the International Canicross Federation\u2122 and the national federations on his continent.
– They contribute to the achievement of the goals set by the International Canicross Federation
– They ensure that the sporting rules related to single-dog sport are respected in order to achieve harmonisation between all affiliated countries, while keeping in mind that if international standards and regulations are essential in order to guarantee the international harmony of sporting disciplines, they may possibly conflict with certain national regulations.
– They are responsible for the continental dissemination of the I.C.F.\u2122 rules and values through the national sports federations established in the countries, while respecting the cultural dimension specific to each country, which reflects the way in which they are perceived by the population, and more particularly by people working in the sports sector and physical activity in general.
– They are also responsible for possibly making proposals for the development of the regulations specific to each sports discipline for which they are responsible and for ensuring their application by all practitioners, with the support of their national relays.
– They ensure that the federations can demonstrate that they meet the criteria and standards specific to single-dog disciplines in order to be recognised as such.
– They communicate \/ report information of all types that deserves dissemination.

Kamila \u0160rolerov\u00e1<\/strong> is a Czech lawyer, athlete, and prominent sports official. She serves as the first Vice-Mayor of the Czech Sokol Organization (\u010cOS)<\/a><\/strong>, where she is actively involved in the development of legal advisory services, the Code of Ethics, the promotion of children\u2019s physical activity, and a wide range of other initiatives.<\/p>

She is well known for her passion for running and dog sports, particularly mushing. Kamila actively promotes a healthy lifestyle and is engaged in organizations that support people with disabilities or health-related challenges. Having led a sled dog sports club for more than 13 years, she has organized numerous small- and large-scale competitions. She has been cooperating with the International Canicross Federation (ICF) for over ten years.<\/p>

With over 15 years of experience as an athlete in the world of dog-powered sports, I am also a professional dog trainer and the owner of a canine sports center in Bromont, called Sirius Sports Canins<\/em>.
In 2015, I took part in my first international championship here in North America, which became one of my greatest sources of inspiration, as I had the chance to connect closely with athletes from around the world and witness the global development of the sport.
In November 2023, in Leipa, Germany, I earned my first title as Vice World Champion in canicross with my top partner, Miles.
In addition, for over a decade, I have organized numerous races on the Canadian circuit, contributing to the growing excitement and development of dog-powered sports in our country.
My mission has always remained the same: to inspire people to stay active with their dogs and to help them build the best possible relationship with them.
My appointment as the North American representative within the ICF aligns perfectly with my vision and aspirations, and I hope to put my knowledge to good use for your organization.

Canicross Federation in New Zealand\u00a0
I first started racing canicross when I taking a break from long distance triathlon in 2012 & haven\u2019t looked back since.\u00a0
I have raced in the UK, Europe and NZ since relocating here about 18 months ago in Dec 2023.
After realising that canicross was not well known here in New Zealand as a competitive sport, I set up Canicross NZ Facebook community to welcome others into the sport, share training and equipment and to help inspire others to run with their dogs. With the aim of growing the community and promoting canicross racing as a competitive sport.\u00a0
I am passionate about introducing the sport of canicross to people of all ages and abilities, especially encouraging juniors and other runners who may not otherwise have the confidence to try something new.
As Canicross NZ\u00a0I now regularly\u00a0run beginners and intro to canicross sessions as well as group runs, where we welcome everyone in a friendly, fun environment where nobody is left behind.\u00a0<\/p>

‘I first heard of canicross 10 years ago when I was looking for an activity to do with my super energetic doberman Florence. From the very first run we were hooked.<\/div>
I was encouraged and coached by the members of Canicross Clwyd in North Wales and took part in races and events of distances from 5km to over 50km. I then gained more dogs and also took up bikejor.<\/div>
I moved to Australia with my three dogs and family in 2022 and immediately threw myself into the incredibly welcoming sledding world competing in canicross, bikejor and scooter.\u00a0<\/div>
With canicross being relatively unknown as a competitive sport here, I worked with a fellow canicrosser to set up the first canicross exclusive group in our state of Victoria. We have introduced the sport to many new teams and have since held the first canicross exclusive races in Victoria.\u00a0<\/div>
I am passionate about introducing the sport of canicross to people and their dogs in the same friendly and encouraging way that I have experienced.<\/div>

Shelley<\/strong> was born in England<\/strong>, is retired from the British Army, is financially independent, and
resides in France with Scottish husband Harry along with 6 retired Sled Dogs. She ran her
first team of dogs in 1998 whilst serving with the British Army in Canada, she has also lived
in Scotland, Turkey, America, Germany, Bosnia, Kosovo and various other Middle Eastern
countries.
Shelley has represented Team Scotland and Team Great Britain with her Canadian Eskimo
Dogs & Siberian Huskies on Snow & Dryland at National & International Level in Mono sport
and Team Sport up until 2019.
Shelley has been a Volunteer with the International Federation of Sled dog Sports (IFSS)
since 2012, as an IFSS National Race Judge, IFSS International Race Judge (all classes)
officiating at numerous World Cup Events, European & World Championship Races both
Dryland & On Snow.
She shared her dog sport experience over the years as a member of the IFSS Registered
Nordic Breed Committee and IFSS Continental Director Europe\u2019s Support Committee;
Shelley was then voted onto European Sled Dog Sports Racing Association (ESDRA)
Treasurer and Vice President and is currently the Caretaker of the entire ESDRA Brand.
Shelley Says… \u201cI love Dog Sport; I would like to thank the President of the International
Canicross Federation (ICF) for offering me the position of ICF Representative for Western
Europe and relish the opportunity to liaise with the many Clubs and National Teams

I was born in 1962 in Thessaloniki, Greece, and from an early age I found creative expression to be my natural path. For the past 36 years, I have worked professionally as a designer, specializing in branding, packaging, video production, web design and developing, 3D design, photography, and typography.
I am the founder and owner of Artnoise Designers LTD<\/strong>, a creative agency through which I have led a wide range of projects focused on strategy, aesthetics, and innovation. Every project I undertake reflects my dedication to visual identity, detail, and authentic communication.
Alongside my design career, I\u2019ve always had a deep connection with dogs\u2014one that has been present throughout my life. In 2017, I was introduced to Canicross<\/strong> by my best man, and I was immediately drawn to the sport. We began exploring it in depth, acquiring knowledge and building a strong foundation with the vision of developing Canicross in Greece and fostering a healthy, sportsmanlike spirit around it.
In 2019, we became part of the ICF (International Canicross Federation)<\/strong> family, gaining further expertise and forging meaningful relationships with athletes and organizations from around the world.

My name is Sara Rehn, and I am deeply honoured to have been selected as the ICF representative for Northern Europe.<\/div>
I have been actively involved in the establishment of the Danish Canicross Federation, and I am incredibly passionate about this amazing sport. Canicross is truly about teamwork with our dogs, and that connection is what drives me.<\/div>
What I value most is the community surrounding the sport\u2014one built on mutual respect, support, and a shared love for our beloved dogs.<\/div>
As a representative, my goal is to meet the expectations set for Northern Europe and to help welcome even more wonderful people and their dogs into this fantastic sport\u2014regardless of their level or ambition. My hope is that everyone can discover the joy of being active together with their dog.<\/div>

As a dedicated trail and marathon runner<\/strong>, I\u2019ve always found freedom and purpose on the trails \u2014 but that joy took on a whole new meaning when I began running with my dog, Chobe<\/strong>, a spirited 4-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback<\/strong>. Together, we discovered the exhilarating world of Canicross<\/strong>, and since then, I\u2019ve been committed to sharing this passion with others across Southern Africa<\/strong>.<\/p>

I proudly serve as a regional representative<\/strong> for the International Canicross Federation<\/strong>, working to promote the development of Canicross and Monodog Sports<\/strong> throughout the region.<\/p>
